How do I check for availability and service pricing offered by the individual stylists?Accessibility according to your schedule is our goal. We invite you to navigate to our online scheduling system. At your convenience, 24/7, using any device, you may check the availability and pricing offered by the accessible stylists based on the service(s) you desire. For those using a computer, just hover your cursor over the "More" button up in the top right corner of this window and select "Booking Request." On a mobile phone, scroll to the top of this page and click the hamburger menu (the 3 stacked horizontal lines) in the top right corner to access the same drop-down. Of course, you can always reach out directly to your stylist or send us a chat inquiry (press the Let's Chat button in the lower right corner of this window). NOTE: If the stylist you're seeking is not listed, it is most likely due to the online booking feature being disabled for that particular stylist. This is done by the individual stylist when their existing guest list perpetually fills their calendar and it's impractical to offer online booking access. Can I schedule online?Absolutely! It's easy, quick, and convenient. We're certain that you will prefer it. HOW? Pepper Salon has seamlessly integrated the intuitive Vagaro scheduling system into our site. Your Vagaro credentials will work at all venues that rely on their scheduling system. Do you already have a Vagaro username and password established? If not ... before proceeding, be sure to sign up. Download the Vagaro app from the App Store or Google Play ... or access their site at vagaro.com. Don't worry! Vagaro is widely used by service professionals around the world (and they're headquartered right next door in Pleasanton). Their app/website is free for your use and maintains the highest privacy standards. Once you have your Vagaro credentials, just hover your cursor over the "More" button in the top right corner of this page and select "Booking Request" in the drop-down menu. On a mobile phone, scroll to the top of this page and click the hamburger menu (the 3 stacked horizontal lines) in the top right corner to access the same drop-down. After you search and find your desired date/start time, you may opt to submit an online booking request. The best part is that your request will bypass the volume of emails, text messages, and voicemails already received by the stylists. It will be posted immediately on our master scheduling calendar with a time stamp for review by your selected stylist. NOTE: All requests are evaluated in the order they are received by the master stylist you have selected. Once your request is accepted, you will receive an automated text notification (or email if you provided an email address) and a reminder will be sent, via the same method, 24 hours before your appointment. Bear in mind that some online requests, on rare occasions, may not be accommodated due to insufficient time for the specific service(s) requested. How do I know if my online booking request has been accepted?When your online booking request has been accepted by your selected stylist, an automatic notification will be sent via text to your mobile phone (if included in your Vagaro profile) and/or your email address (if included in your profile). Following the acceptance notification, an automatic confirmation request will be sent 72 hours before your appointment to ensure you're planning to arrive. Please respond to the request. Finally, an automatic reminder will be issued 24 hours before your appointment. If you're still unsure, don't hesitate to reach out directly to your stylist or send us a chat inquiry (press the Let's Chat button in the lower right corner of this window) ... or, if you prefer, call/text (925) 493-7643.

What if I'm not sure of the service(s) to request?When booking online for the first time, you may have a few questions. It's okay to not know exactly what to ask for from our online list of services. For your convenience, we've created an online "Special Request" form so you can tell us, in your own words and photos, what you want done. It uses a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificate which guarantees that your data, passed between your browser and our site's server, cannot be intercepted or modified. Do you offer extensions?Yes! Thanks to the innovation of extensions, you can achieve the long, voluminous hair look. But … before we get started, you will have a lot of questions … and so will we. Do you have Wi-Fi?Yes, we have Wi-Fi. Please feel free to bring your device or laptop with you. We respectfully request that all devices be placed in “silent” mode ... or earbuds/headphones are used to ensure a relaxing experience for all our guests.

How do you ensure children's safety?Child safety is first and foremost! Sharp scissors, razors, hot flat irons, various professional hair products ... all of these make for a potentially menacing environment for our children. In order that accidents are avoided, we urge our guests with young children (who are not being served) to plan for their care at home or with a trusted friend. If there is a lack of choice and your young child(ren) must accompany you, then please ensure that they are overseen by an adult or older child in our seating area. Do keep in mind that services beyond a cut may take a couple of hours. That time in a salon for a waiting child can be harrowing … and stressful for the parent, too. Please enable us to ensure a delightful time for you and all our guests.
